The Dream Pantry provides food assistance to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Through a choice-based model, neighbors can select grocery items that best meet their household’s needs, helping them stretch their budget while maintaining dignity and choice.

The Dream Pantry is a
choice-based food pantry serving individuals and families across Brazoria County.
Neighbors are able to select the foods that best meet their household needs.
The Pantry is open 3 days a week for convenience.

This model helps reduce waste, supports dignity, and allows families to take home food they will actually use.
Who We Serve
The Dream Pantry helps Brazoria County families who are struggling to keep food on the table due to financial hardship, job loss, and unexpected challenges.
Families, seniors, individuals, and households of all sizes are welcome to seek assistance.
How the Pantry Works

Check in when you arrive
Neighbors complete a brief intake or update their household information.

Receive shopping points
Each household receives points based on household size.

Earn extra shopping points You can earn up to 10 extra points per each week by bringing bags with you.

Reusable bags: 2 points each, up to 5 bags

Plastic grocery bags: 1 point each, up to 10 bags

Choose your groceries
Neighbors shop for pantry items, including shelf-stable food, frozen items, produce, and other grocery staples when available.

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Thursday
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

The Dream Pantry is closed Tuesday, Friday, and the weekend.

Helpful Information
to Bring
If available, we encourage you to bring documents that can help complete or update your household information, such as:

Photo ID, driver's license, passport, birth certificate, or other identification for household members

Current lease, utility bill, or other document showing that you live in Brazoria County
-
Recent paycheck stubs, benefit letters, social Security statements, or other income information
These documents are helpful, but they are not required to receive TEFAP/USDA Food. Documents may also be shown digitally from your phone.

Providing complete household information helps us make sure your family receives the correct number of shopping points.
